How do I fix the substitution bug?
You will need to download the official patch, which you can find here.
How do I install the official patch?
Simply download the .zip file, open it and run the installation (.exe) file. Please note that you will need to download the correct patch for the version of the game you are running (both the language version and whether it is the DVD-ROM or EA Downloader version); it also helps to have a freshly installed copy of the game. Please also note that the patch will not work with cracked/illegal copies of the game and we will not assist you in this regard.
How do I change Freestyle Superstars movesets?
To change a player's Freestyle Superstars ability on the fly, hold down the Superstar Trigger button and press the Off-Ball Control button to cycle through a player's available movesets.
How do I back down in the Current Gen version?
To back down, you might hold the right analog stick down while moving the player with the left analog stick.
How do I perform more complex Freestyle Superstars moves?
The more advanced moves are performed by moving the right analog stick in half-circles rather than moving it in a single direction (ie up, left, down or right).
How do I perform a Pro Hop?
On the PC/PS2 version, hold the right analog stick up. On the Xbox 360 version, hold down the Layup button.
How do I enable CustomArt?
You don't have to enable CustomArt this year, it is enabled by default.
Can you use Freestyle Control/Freestyle Air without a dual analog gamepad?
Yes, but in a very limited way. To take full advantage of Freestyle Control/Freestyle Air, you will need a dual analog gamepad. The dunk contest all but requires you to have a dual analog gamepad.
Where is Michael Jordan?
Michael Jordan, along with a few other legends, is not included in the game due to licensing issues.
