NBA Live 09 Xbox Live Achievements
The following is a list of Xbox Live Achievements that can be attained in the Xbox 360 version of NBA Live 09. There are 23 achievements with a total of 1000 Gamerscore points to be earned.

| Super GM | Fully upgrade your Dynasty Mode™ team staff. | 100 |
| Perimeter Man | Fully complete all of the "Guard Station" challenges in the NBA LIVE Academy. | 50 |
| BMOC | Fully complete all of the "Big Man Station" challenges in the NBA LIVE Academy. | 50 |
| Team Player | Fully complete all of the "Team-Play Station" challenges in the NBA LIVE Academy. | 50 |
| Created a Monster | Score over 60 points with a created player in a solo game vs. the CPU. | 25 |
| The Past is Present | Play and win a solo NBA LIVE Rewind Game vs. the CPU. | 25 |
| Game of the Week | Play and win a "Game of the Week" ranked match online. | 30 |
| BAP MVP | Win a Be a Pro game, receiving an 80 or higher Be a Pro rating with your player solo vs. the CPU. | 30 |
| David and Goliath | Defeat any team rated 10 points or higher in a solo match on Superstar difficulty vs. the CPU. | 50 |
| MVP | A player on your Dynasty Mode™ team wins the MVP of the regular season. | 30 |
| NBA Finals MVP | A player on your Dynasty Mode™ teams wins the NBA Finals MVP. | 30 |
| All-Star | A player on your Dynasty Mode™ teams wins the NBA Finals MVP. | 20 |
| All-NBA | A player on your Dynasty Mode™ team makes the All-NBA team. | 20 |
| Clutch | On Superstar difficulty vs. the CPU, make two free throws in a row with under two minutes remaining. | 20 |
| G.O.A.T. | Win by at least 20 points in solo game on Superstar difficulty vs. the CPU. | 60 |
| The Comeback Kid | Win a solo game after being down by 20 points vs. the CPU. | 40 |
| Shock the World | Defeat Team USA in a solo match in the FIBA World Championship tournament vs. the CPU. | 30 |
| The Grinder | Play 20 ranked matches online. | 100 |
| Club Victory | Play and win a Team Play Club match. | 50 |
| Cool Off | Shut down a hot "Shot Streak" by keeping his point total under 10 vs. the CPU (minimum 10 minute quarters). | 50 |
| Old School | Win a game with no dunks or 3 point shots in a solo game vs. the CPU. | 60 |
