Rising Star
Rising Star is a single player career mode that is set to make its debut in NBA Live 14. It is similar in concept to MyCAREER in the NBA 2K series, as well as Be a Pro in previous EA Sports titles and Become Legendary, which was intended to debut in the cancelled NBA Elite 11.
Overview
In Rising Star, users create a player which they are locked to controlling for the course of a career that is capped at 25 seasons. Users can choose what type of player they want to be as they earn Rising Star Points, which can be used to develop their skills.
The mode begins with the EA Sports Draft Showcase powered by Under Armour. As with MyCAREER's Draft Showcase, a player's performance determines their Draft potential and where they will begin their career.
