Summer Circuit
Summer Circuit is a game mode introduced in NBA Live 16, featuring both single player and multiplayer gameplay. Along with LIVE Run, it's one of two modes that make up LIVE Pro-Am. Up to five users on five consoles can take part in pickup games set in famous basketball venues, such as New York's Rucker Park and the Hoop Dome in Toronto, using their Rising Star players. Each venue pits the user-controlled team against different teams made up of NBA players, as well as special "boss" characters, with different objectives to complete in each game. Completing objectives unlocks various gear which your Rising Star player can wear.
The NBA players chosen for each team have some connection to the venue the games are being played at, with each team assembled according to a common theme. Games are played under streetball rules, with no fouls and the winner being the first team to reach 21. Baskets count for two and three points however, and there is no "win by two" rule, meaning a team trailing 20-18 can immediately win the game with a three. Users can earn RP, which is used to purchase different gear and accessories for their Rising Star player, and SP, which is used to upgrade their player's skills.
