Great Podcast Guys!!
Thanks man, glad you enjoyed it.
Re: NBA Live 13 talk. Personally, EA have let me down in the past year after a year, and my expectations for Live13 are verrrry low. When i saw the live13 build i was not surprised. I thought “yep, same old shit from EA”. It looks bad! I don’t care if it was an “early” build. It shows they’re on the wrong path. It looked cartoony and dumb yet again. If you’re like JaoSming and you just want to play a different game other than 2k to just dunk with, that’s fine. But for the rest of us who like a realistic basketball sim, there’s no way Live13 is gonna be worth buying.
Everyone’s entitled to their opinion and taste, including JaoSming. And we’re entitled to tease him when it’s obvious he’s lost it completely, as we did. 😛
I’m with you on this one, Nick. I agree completely, that’s why I said that I wouldn’t buy the game even if they had 3 months to develop it after that video.
As I said, if EA are going to release anything, they need to take their time and release something good. They’re between a rock and a hard place, because if they’re to bring out something good they’ll need to delay, and if they don’t delay they’re, most probably, going to release something bad. Either way, their credibility is hurt.
But as JaoSming noted, it could be all part of EA’s strategy to give us no info until a week from release, and that the game could be much better when we get our hands on the demo.
It’s all speculation right now Nick. We’ll see.
Great job with the podcast guys, really enjoyed the discussion. Looking forward to making this a regular feature here at the NLSC. 🙂
